JASON ISAACS was born
in Liverpool, England. While studying at university he also acted
in and directed many theatre productions, a number of which were
recognized by the prestigious Edinburgh Festival. In 1989, he became
a series regular on the British television show Capital
City. But he really demonstrated the range of his
talent when he performed in the critically acclaimed, Pulitzer-prize
winning play Angels of America (1993).
ISAACS continues to appear on television and
has a number of films to his credit including Event
Horizon (1997) and Armageddon
(1998). But what really launched his career was his role in The
Patriot (2000). Since then, he has starred in Passionada
(2002) and as Captain Crochet in Peter Pan
(2003). He also played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter
and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) and will appear
in parts four and five of the saga. |
His character : General Wolfe
A military officer who has orders to put New France under
the governance of the British Crown, Wolfe is a sick and volatile man
charged with a mission which he views as almost mystical. He leads
his army to defeat the French regime but is killed in battle when
his troops take over the city.
